Just with that title a lot of ideas should come to your mind.
Heinz Doofenshmirtz used to be an evil scientist trying to take over the entire Tri-State Area in Phineas and Ferb. Nowadays he is a teacher or a secret agent, nobody really knows. He is quite smart despite being quite dumb. He could be the most intelligent goof man in existence, or the goofiest intelligent man in existence.
Rick Sanchez is a genius scientist whose alcoholism and reckless, nihilistic behavior are born from his intelligence, and the fact that the multiverse makes the value of things relatively in Rick and Morty. He may be the smartest man in the universe, but he is also his biggest enemy, literally and metaphorically.
If you are wondering how could it be that those two are related, just give a little thought.
First, they are both scientist, both use a coat, and both have a Hispanic background. But that's just the beginning.
The most important part of my theory is that Doofenshmirtz and Rick are both capable of inter-dimensional travelling. They are not exactly similar in appearance, but there is definitely something familiar in them.
Which of them is smarter? It is hard to tell. Doofenshmirtz is dumb about some things, and yet he mastered time travel, something that even Rick isn't able to do.
A crossover with these two will be hilarious. And with Disney buying everything that is worth it, it could happen eventually.
I could settle with the Game Theorist covering this too. Crossing fingers.
